LA SOLANA ALTA is a vineyard planted with white Grenache. This plot lies opposite the village of La Vilella Alta, just beneath the limestone cliffs of Els Montalts, part of the Montsant massif. Apart from the spectacular view from the vineyard, it stands out for the high, ancient dry-stone retaining walls holding up the field terraces. In this vineyard you can feel the history of the Priorat region, the link between its people and the land that allows them to grow vines in this unique setting. With it we try to show how the work done so many years ago on this spot forms part of the heritage of the Priorat.
